Job Summary:

The Olgoonik Corporation seeks a highly skilled Tactical Operations Center Manager to oversee daily operations, coordination, and communications for the Foreign Affairs Security Training Center (FASTC) training spaces. This position requires expert coordination, de-confliction, and safety considerations of training areas used by Diplomatic Security (DS) training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and direct facility-wide notifications using various communications media;
  • Lead the development, evaluation, and instruction of Tactical Operation Center (TOC) course curriculum as subject matter expert in operations coordination;
  • Oversee administrative functions associated with the training operations center, including training requests processing, tracking logs, and emergency operations procedures;
  • Operate integrated wave communications systems and terminate radio traffic to the operations center;
  • Maintain technical and tactical proficiency on topics such as Wave communication, Personal Tracking Locators, Mobile Video Systems, Unmanned Arial Vehicles, Security Management Systems, Electric Counter Measures, and Tactical Operations Center planning and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience;
  • Four years' experience in a tactical operations center and five years' relevant hard skills tactics experience;
  • Five years of supervisory experience preferred;
  • Certification in non-lethal projectile training, destructive device training, and/or safety training;
  • Completion of a recognized instructor development training course preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Instructor experience;
  • Intermediate knowledge of terrorist operations, surveillance detection, motorcade operations, communications, law enforcement/military training programs, security programs, operations, and techniques;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of security concepts, principles, and practices;
  • Familiarity with foreign service personnel functions, responsibilities, and duties;
  • Basic knowledge of adult learning principles, course development, classroom instructional presentation methods, and evaluating training effectiveness.
