As a Front Desk Agent and Bar Host at Hyatt Place Richmond/Arboretum, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, registering guests, and handling various hotel operations. Responsibilities
  • Register guests and handle room assignments
  • Provide information and assistance to guests regarding hotel services, facilities, and local attractions
  • Operate the front desk computer system and handle check-ins and check-outs
  • Manage the bar and lounge area, including taking orders, serving drinks, and handling cash transactions
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as answering phones, handling mail and messages, and maintaining accurate records
  • Work effectively in a team environment and maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field helpful
  • Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn hotel software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
