Job Summary:

The Senior Administrative Assistant is a highly skilled and experienced professional responsible for providing advanced level administrative support to senior level department heads within assigned areas. This role requires a high degree of autonomy, discretion, and confidentiality, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to senior level department heads, including preparing and editing documents, presentations, and reports.
  • Coordinate and manage complex projects, including planning, organizing, and executing events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, partners, and customers.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff members on administrative procedures and policies.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or two years of college required; experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum five years of secretarial, clerical, or administrative experience required, preferably in healthcare, academic, psychiatric, and/or outpatient setting.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • Able to type 50 wpm.
  • Able to read, write legibly, speak in English with professional quality, and use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position.
