Job Title: Associate Director of Event Services

Harvard University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director of Event Services to join our team. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events, including academic activities, alumni conferences and reunions, Commencement activities, high-profile programs, internal meetings, student speaker events, and external events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual equipment, and other event-related services.
  • Develop and implement event marketing strategies to promote events and increase attendance.
  • Collaborate with event sponsors, speakers, and performers to ensure successful event execution.
  • Manage event budgets and ensure financial accountability.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to event attendees, sponsors, and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in event planning and management.
  • Proven track record of successfully planning and executing large-scale events.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
