POSITION LEVELS

This engineering position is available at either the Mid-level or Senior Engineer tier. Below are the minimum qualifications for each level:

Mid Level - $88,200 - $108,000

Senior Level - $115,200 - $141,000

Note: Salary ranges are annual and based on experience, including a comprehensive benefits package that features bonuses and a 401(k) plan.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

The role involves executing advanced technical and engineering problem-solving to support nuclear plant operations. The incumbent will be responsible for making critical technical decisions and must possess extensive knowledge in their functional discipline, along with a thorough understanding of relevant industry codes and regulations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Deliver in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and execute engineering analyses, activities, and programs.
  • Offer technical consultation and support through direct engagement to identify and resolve equipment and system issues.
  • Oversee the complete management of engineering tasks.
  • Conduct engineering assignments as directed by supervision, applying established engineering principles.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work, maintaining proper configuration management and adherence to standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes in the preparation of plans and specifications.
  • Engage in independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses to support technical projects and initiatives.
  • Propose equipment, innovative concepts, and techniques aimed at enhancing performance, simplifying construction, reducing costs, rectifying design or material flaws, or complying with updated codes or regulations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • For Mid-level E02 Engineer:
    • B.S. in Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience.
    For Senior E03 Engineer:
    • B.S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer with at least 5 years of engineering experience.

  • Professional Engineer Registration.
  • Advanced technical degree or relevant coursework.
