Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Supervisor to join our team at HYATT Hotels. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of hourly cooks to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
  • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels to maintain profitability.
  • Develop and implement menu planning, food preparation, and presentation standards to meet guest expectations.
  • Train and develop kitchen staff to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Assist in monitoring payroll costs and overtime to ensure compliance with company policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a hotel or restaurant kitchen.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
