Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Helper to join our team at Sealed Air Corporation. As a Manufacturing Helper, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes, maintaining high-quality products, and meeting customer demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the safe operation of production equipment to produce quality products by continually adjusting gauges that control speed, temperature, and pressure.
- Understand and adhere to all safety rules and procedures.
- Produce orders on time to satisfy customer needs and production requirements.
- Perform product labeling, packing, wrapping, and helping to supply line for production.
- Assist with all required quality inspections, testing, and documentation.
- Comply with company standards with regard to housekeeping and 6S on machines and surrounding areas.
- Help perform routine preventative maintenance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
- High awareness toward safety.
- Ability to solve problems and apply critical thinking.
- Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- College-level courses or trade school preferred, but not necessary.
- Ability to operate cranes, forklift, and other related equipment.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, walking, and bending.
- Pushing, pulling, lifting at least 40lbs.
- Eye/hand coordination.
