Job Title: 2nd Shift Batch Maker

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Batch Maker to join our team at RPM Wood Finishes Group. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality products by following established formulas and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Weigh and measure raw materials accurately to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Operate mixing and grinding equipment to produce high-quality products.
  • Monitor and control batch production to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Control team to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Record and maintain accurate batch records and quality control data.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or a related field preferred.
  • Strong math and measurement skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions:

The work environment is representative of those an employee would encounter in a normal paint manufacturing facility. The employee is exposed to solvent vapors at well below the OSHA permissible exposure limit, and when required, adequate personal protection equipment is provided.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI):

  • Completing the number of batches required by the daily production schedule.
  • Accuracy of completed batches.
  • Satisfactory appearance of work area.
  • Attendance and attitude.
