Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Education Coordinator to join our team at CommonSpirit Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our education programs, ensuring the smooth operation of our training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate training program support, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining records.
  • Assist with fellow recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing support.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the accreditation site visit process and internal review process.
  • Maintain resident and fellow rotation lists, ensure credentialing, and coordinate conferences.
  • Perform trainee orientation, serve as a point of contact, and obtain initial paperwork.
  • Assist with journal article research, printing, and distribution, as well as ordering articles from the library.
  • Maintain fellow photo rosters and orient BCM Medical Students.
  • Complete payer and institutional credentialing requirements and coordinate professional staff membership.
  • Maintain calendars for Division Chiefs, schedule meetings, and coordinate staff, resident, and fellow call schedules.
  • Transcribe physician dictation, including letters, memos, and meeting minutes.
  • Answer phone calls and direct requests as necessary.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or three years of experience.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to communicate effectively, and ability to multitask and exercise good judgment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain confidential information.
