Liberty Senior Living is seeking a skilled Medication Technician to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Medication Technician will be responsible for providing medication administration services to our residents, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications to residents as prescribed by physicians.
  • Take orders, document orders, and receive medications from pharmacies.
  • Perform vital sign checks, give enemas and suppositories as needed.
  • Follow universal precautions and hazardous chemical procedures to maintain a safe environment.
  • Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
  • Monitor residents' status and report any changes to doctors, families, and administration.

Requirements:

  • Certified Nurse's Aide certification or completion of the 75-hour course and company Medication Administration course.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly or at least 10 times per shift.
