About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Guest Services team as a part-time Event Staff member at the Angel of the Winds Arena. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience at our events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Greet guests and collect tickets as they enter the building or section assigned, ensuring a smooth and efficient entry process.
- Ensure guest compliance with outside food and beverage policies, as well as camera policies within the building.
- Usher guests to their seats and provide directional assistance throughout the facility, ensuring they have a clear understanding of the event layout.
- Monitor guest conduct and provide assistance to guests as needed, maintaining a safe and secure environment for all.
- Report any unsafe equipment or situations to supervisory staff immediately, prioritizing guest safety and well-being.
- Perform crowd control management functions, including directing guests to emergency exits and assisting with special needs.
- Act as a member of the emergency evacuation team, directing guests to emergency exits and ensuring their safe evacuation from the facility.
- Monitor emergency exits and assist guests with special needs, providing additional support as required.
- Move around to various positions/locations as event needs dictate, ensuring a seamless and efficient guest experience.
- Hand out materials to guests as needed for events, providing clear and concise information about the event.
- Follow directions for all event procedures and safety standards, adhering to company policies and protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service assistance to internal and external clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
- Exceptional guest and client service capabilities and interpersonal skills are essential, with an outgoing and friendly personality required.
- Ability to work independently and remain flexible, adapting to changing event needs and priorities.
- Ability to remain diplomatic and provide exceptional guest service in solving guest situations and answering inquiries.
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, and climb stairs, with occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds unaided.
