Job Summary

An Intake Representative is responsible for handling inbound calls regarding automobile insurance claims. Enter new claims in the system and assign them to the appropriate adjuster. Provide excellent customer service. Assist customers with existing claims and complete some administrative and clerical duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming telephone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Enter new claims into the system and ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with adjusters to assign claims and ensure seamless communication.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry and record-keeping, to support the claims process.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A college degree or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 6 months of experience in customer service or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • A high degree of motivation and team orientation, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
