Key Responsibilities:


Address customer inquiries concerning medical insurance coverage, benefits, claims, and billing, utilizing your healthcare knowledge to deliver accurate information.

Assist clients in comprehending their insurance policies, including coverage for particular medical procedures, treatments, and medications.
Process and validate insurance claims, ensuring all details correspond with medical records and coding.
Resolve customer issues, including discrepancies in claims or coverage, in a professional and compassionate manner.

Guide customers through the claims process, eligibility, and benefits, using your medical experience to clarify complex medical terms and procedures.

Document customer interactions and maintain precise records in the system.
Escalate intricate or sensitive matters to the appropriate department or supervisor as necessary.
Stay informed about changes in medical insurance policies and procedures, as well as medical guidelines and terminology.
Achieve or surpass performance metrics, including call handling time, customer satisfaction, and accuracy.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Required Skills:
Experience in a Medical Office
Call center experience

Education:
High School diploma

Experience:

1-4 years

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in a medical-related field is highly preferred.
Prior experience in a call center or customer service role within the medical insurance sector is required.
Strong understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and coding.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate medical and insurance information to customers.
Proficient in utilizing computer systems, including customer management software, medical billing systems, and Microsoft Office.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
