Clinical Laboratory Specialist - ASCP
Full-Time / Competitive Compensation


As a Clinical Laboratory Specialist, your main duty will involve performing complex laboratory tests and analyses.

Your contributions are essential in producing accurate and reliable results that significantly influence patient diagnosis and treatment strategies.


Compensation Range:
$58,000-$80,000/year

Shift: 10AM - 6PM M-F

Qualifications:
American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) certification or equivalent

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field

Associate degree in Medical Technology or a related field

Key Responsibilities:
The Clinical Laboratory Specialist will primarily focus on analyzing blood and bodily fluids using advanced laboratory instruments to gather a wide range of information.

- Assess specimens for the presence of bacteria, viruses, or parasites

- Evaluate drug levels or other chemicals in the bloodstream to ensure medications are maintained at optimal therapeutic levels

- Analyze the chemical composition of blood to identify nutrient deficiencies or excesses in cholesterol or blood sugar levels
