Position Overview

The Veterinarian plays a crucial role in delivering top-notch care to our patients while fostering strong relationships with their owners. This position involves conducting physical examinations, performing surgeries, and providing dental care, with a strong emphasis on client communication and education. Key Responsibilities
  • Build rapport with clients to understand their needs; conduct thorough physical examinations and perform diagnostic, medical, surgical, and dental procedures with a focus on minimizing stress for the patient.
  • Communicate examination findings and provide a clear diagnosis; develop and present treatment plans, and educate clients on preventive health care, including vaccinations and nutrition.
  • Maintain accurate medical and surgical records, ensuring all logs are updated according to established protocols; collaborate with colleagues for ongoing patient management.
  • Stay informed about advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in Continuing Education opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development of the support team to ensure the highest quality of care and client service.
  • Represent the hospital positively within the professional community and to the public.
  • Treat every client with respect and every patient with the utmost care.
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active licensure to practice in the relevant state.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance, with strong interpersonal skills and a friendly attitude.
  • Ability to make informed decisions and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Respectful and willing to work collaboratively with clients and their pets.
  • Compassionate team player dedicated to maintaining a strong reputation with clients.
  • Commitment to practicing the highest standards of veterinary medicine and adhering to ethical guidelines.
  • Experience in surgical procedures is advantageous.
