Job Title: Tier 2 Audio Visual Field Technician

This position may require up to 50% travel. As a Tier 2 Audio Visual Field Technician, you will:

  • Provide daily reporting to the Project Management team
  • Install a wide variety of technology into clients' existing and new build project sites
  • Cable management and planning layout and installation of all 1st fix hardware
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems
  • Travel as needed to other sites for project support and/or installs

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Some experience with Crestron, Extron, QSYS, or Cisco
  • Understanding of signal flow and AVIXA standards
  • Knowledge of low voltage electrical concepts and cabling used in the AV industry
  • Agility, strong sense of urgency, and excellent customer interaction skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment with immense pressure
  • Engagement in technical development and willingness to work globally
  • Good organization and time management skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change and hours of work
  • Valid driver's license

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • 1-3 years' experience in the AV/VC industry
  • Knowledge of signal flow and AV installation
  • AVIXA CTS/CTS-I Certification is desired
  • OSHA 10/30 Certificate is highly desired
