Key Responsibilities:The Resupply Customer Service Representative will be responsible for:
- Building relationships with locations, field management, patients, and referral sources
- Collecting co-pays and deductible amounts
- Conducting insurance verification and eligibility for services/products
- Developing and maintaining knowledge of current Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance regulations
- Providing education to referral sources, patients, and employees
- Performing Quality Assurance for medical necessity and documentation requirements
- Managing initial intake process
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience in the medical field, preferably in customer service or a related field
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of insurance policies and requirements
- One year of related work experience
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Accurate mathematical calculations
- Effective communication in English, both oral and written
- Maintaining confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information
- Self-motivation and deductive problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
This role may require lifting and carrying office equipment, sitting, walking, standing, and extensive hours working on a computer or tablet.
