Job Summary

We are seeking a Claims Adjuster Trainee to join our team at Progressive Insurance. As a Claims Adjuster Trainee, you will be responsible for helping customers resolve their insurance claims in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine Coverage: Assess the extent of damage or loss to determine the amount of coverage available to the customer.
  • Determine Liability: Investigate the circumstances surrounding the claim to determine who is at fault for the damages.
  • Interview Customers and Claimants: Conduct interviews with customers, claimants, and witnesses to gather information and evidence related to the claim.
  • Partner with Appraisers/Estimators: Collaborate with appraisers and estimators to manage vehicle repairs and ensure that the customer receives a fair settlement.
  • Negotiate with Customers and Other Insurance Carriers: Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers to resolve claims and ensure that the customer receives a fair settlement.
Requirements
  • Three Years of Relevant Work Experience or a Bachelor's degree or two years of relevant work experience and an associate degree.
Work Schedule

During onboarding (first three months), Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm. After onboarding, Monday-Friday (40 hours per week). Start and end time will vary between 8am-6pm (based on business need).

  • $51,000 - $54,500/year
