Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at Piedmont HealthCare. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for answering all calls directed to our main number, answering service call forwarding lines, and general information inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer all calls in a timely and professional manner, providing accurate and efficient service to our patients and staff.
  • Utilize computerized systems to locate physicians, personnel, and patients, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Serve as a major contact for all levels of personnel requiring on-call schedule information and access to off-duty personnel.
  • Participate in emergency and disaster preparedness situations, demonstrating a commitment to patient safety and well-being.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • One year of experience in a customer service environment, preferably in a call center, switchboard, answering service, or message center.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to read, interpret, and apply written instructions.
  • Proficient with personal computers and Windows-based operating systems, with experience in typing 35 WPM.
  • Ability to maintain a positive and courteous demeanor in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Work Environment:

This is a 24-hour a day essential department, requiring flexibility with work hours and a willingness to adapt to changing schedules. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a controlled environment, with minimal distractions and a strong focus on customer service.
