Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Supervisor to join our team at New Season Treatment Centers. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing direct supervision to nursing staff, ensuring continuity among nursing teams, and implementing infection-control policies and protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct supervision to nursing staff, including RNs and LPNs, to ensure continuity among nursing teams.
  • Implement infection-control policies and protocols, medication storage procedures, and policies regarding controlled substance regulations and confidentiality.
  • Track and monitor all medical paperwork involving patient dose changes, lab results, physician orders, phase/level changes, and verbal orders.
  • Ensure that the pharmacy is opened and closed in accordance with policy, and that staffing protocols are followed.
  • Oversee the administering of all take-home medication and document and evaluate Diversion Control procedures.
  • Conduct and/or oversee the administration of tests ordered by the physician, including lab tests, patient vital signs, and TB tests.
  • Actively participate in Treatment Team meetings and staff meetings, and act always in the best interest of the program and the company.
Requirements
  • Active licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state in which work is being performed.
  • 3+ years of progressive professional-level experience in the Nursing field.
  • Knowledge and skill in the application of professional nursing theory, medications, and infection control.
  • Ability to organize assigned work, make verbal/written reports and documentation, and maintain nursing records and charts.
