Job Title: RN Supervisor - Clinical Pharmacy OperationsJob Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Supervisor to lead our clinical pharmacy operations team at New Season Treatment Centers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our pharmacy, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety, and promoting a culture of excellence within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct supervision to nursing staff, including RNs and LPNs, to ensure continuity of care and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Administer and oversee the administration of medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with physician orders.
  • Maintain accurate records of medication inventory, ordering, and dispensing.
  • Implement and oversee infection-control policies and protocols, medication storage procedures, and confidentiality measures.
  • Track and monitor patient medical paperwork, including dose changes, lab results, and physician orders.
  • Place orders for medication supplies and ensure adequate staffing and cross-training for ordering and receiving medications.
  • Promote quality care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes, and making adjustments as needed.
  • Ensure pharmacy operations are conducted in accordance with policy, staffing protocols are followed, and nursing schedules are established.
  • Document patient care services and evaluate Diversion Control procedures.
  • Conduct and oversee the administration of tests, including lab tests, vital signs, and TB tests.
  • Schedule and screen patients for Medical Director appointments and assist with History and Physical assistance as needed.
  • Participate in Treatment Team meetings and staff meetings, acting in the best interest of the program and company.
  • Collect and oversee pharmacy fees for medication and ancillary services, assess patient ability to pay, and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Active licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state where work is being performed.
  • 3+ years of progressive professional-level experience in nursing, preferably in a clinical pharmacy setting.
  • Knowledge of medications, their proper dosage, effects, and contraindications.
  • Ability to organize assigned work, make verbal/written reports, and maintain nursing records and charts.
  • Ability to supervise and manage day-to-day clinical pharmacy operations, including LPN staff.
  • Composure and ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and families.
Working Conditions:

The RN Supervisor will work in a fast-paced clinical pharmacy environment, with moderate everyday noise. Ability to travel up to 10%.
