Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team at New Season Treatment Centers. As a key member of our clinical pharmacy operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our pharmacy, ensuring the safe and effective management of medications, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Medication Management: Supervise and manage the daily medication operations, including the administration of medications, inventory management, and medication storage procedures.
  • Staff Supervision: Provide direct supervision to nursing staff, including RNs and LPNs, to ensure continuity of care and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee the implementation of infection-control policies and protocols, medication storage procedures, and confidentiality policies.
  • Patient Care: Provide exceptional patient care, including tracking patient dose changes, lab results, physician orders, phase/level changes, and verbal orders.
  • Pharmacy Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy, including the ordering and receipt of medication supplies, and ensure that all nursing staff is effectively cross-trained for such ordering.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care services, including charting and documentation of patient interactions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with physicians, multidisciplinary team members, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
Requirements:
  • Education and Licensure: Active licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state in which work is being performed.
  • Experience: 3+ years of progressive professional-level experience in the Nursing field, with previous nursing experience preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Knowledge and skill in the application of professional nursing theory, knowledge of medications, their proper dosage, effects, and contraindications, and working knowledge of opiate addiction and infection control.
