Job Summary:

New Season Treatment Centers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Supervisor to lead our clinical pharmacy operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our nursing staff, ensuring the safe and effective management of medications, and promoting a culture of excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct supervision and guidance to nursing staff, including RNs and LPNs, to ensure continuity of care and adherence to established protocols.
  • Manage the recruitment, payroll, and performance process for nursing staff under your supervision.
  • Administer or oversee the administration of medications, as directed by physicians, and maintain accurate records of medication administration.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and storage of medications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and oversee infection-control policies and protocols, medication storage procedures, and confidentiality measures.
  • Track and monitor medical paperwork, including patient dose changes, lab results, and physician orders.
  • Place orders for medication supplies and ensure sufficient scheduling coverage for ordering and receipt of medications.
  • Promote quality care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes, and making adjustments as needed.
  • Ensure the pharmacy is opened and closed in accordance with policy, and establish nursing schedules.
  • Document patient care services and evaluate Diversion Control procedures.
  • Conduct and/or oversee the administration of tests, including lab tests and vital signs.
  • Schedule and screen patients for Medical Director appointments and assist with History and Physical assessments.
  • Participate in Treatment Team meetings and staff meetings, acting in the best interest of the program and company.
  • Collect and oversee fees for medication and ancillary services, and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Active licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state where work is being performed.
  • 3+ years of progressive professional-level experience in the Nursing field, with previous nursing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of medications, their proper dosage, effects, and contraindications.
  • Working knowledge of opiate addiction and infection control.
  • Ability to organize assigned work, make verbal/written reports and documentation, and maintain nursing records and charts.
  • Ability to supervise and manage the day-to-day clinical pharmacy operations of LPN staff.
