Deputy Associate Chief of Staff for Primary Care
Summary:
The Department of Veteran Affairs is seeking a highly motivated and experienced physician to serve as the Deputy Associate Chief of Staff for Primary Care. This leadership role will be responsible for advising on the effective and efficient clinical management of Primary Care programs and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify priorities for improvement in Primary Care and other clinical sections
- Contribute to systems-improvement projects in the department
- Work closely with a talented multi-disciplinary team
- Interact with facility service leadership and executive leadership members
- Responsible for improvement and maintenance of VA quality, access, and satisfaction initiatives
Requirements:
- US Citizen or PRA
- Trained in Family or Internal Medicine
- Full, unrestricted medical license in any State
- Preferred experience: Board Certified in Family or Internal Medicine; VA experience; Supervisory experience
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40hrs/wk
Salary Range: $280,000-$295,000
Recruitment or Relocation Incentive (Sign-on Bonus): Authorized
Education Debt Reduction Program (Student Loan Repayment): Position Eligible
