Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Baytown, TX

About the Role:

Soliant is in search of a committed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to become an integral part of our educational team. In this role, you will be essential in assisting students in overcoming their communication barriers, thereby enhancing their academic and social achievements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluations: Perform comprehensive assessments of students' speech and language capabilities to determine their needs and create tailored therapy plans.
  • Therapeutic Services: Deliver direct therapy aimed at addressing speech, language, and fluency disorders, customizing interventions to suit each student's unique requirements.
  • IEP Participation: Engage in the formulation and assessment of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), collaborating with educators and parents to establish and monitor communication objectives.
  • Collaborative Efforts: Partner with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to incorporate therapy goals into classroom activities, thereby supporting the overall learning experience of students.
  • Documentation: Keep precise and thorough records of student progress, therapy sessions, and evaluations, ensuring compliance with school and state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Texas State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
  • Experience in an educational setting is highly valued.
