Position Overview:
As a Civil Engineering Specialist, you will oversee project management and coordination for various initiatives, including public infrastructure, roadways, and utility systems. Your role will involve:

Key Responsibilities:
The following positions are available within our engineering team:
Associate Engineer I & II
Salary Range: $53,854 - $75,346 (Dependent on Qualifications)
As an Associate Engineer, you will provide essential civil engineering support and represent the City in assessing proposed infrastructure projects. You will work closely with management and engineers to set objectives and track outcomes.
Engineer (P.E.)
Salary Range: $66,699 - $83,374 (Dependent on Qualifications)
In this role, you will manage and mentor engineering staff while providing civil engineering support. You will also review plans for public and private infrastructure projects and utilize engineering principles to prepare future improvement plans.
Senior Engineer (P.E.)
Salary Range: $84,385 - $105,481 (Dependent on Qualifications)
The Senior Engineer will develop and maintain a comprehensive Capital Improvement Plan, addressing issues such as flooding and infrastructure needs. You will lead the review of commercial and residential plans to ensure compliance with regulations.
Qualifications:
To be considered for these positions, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution. Specific requirements include:
- Associate Engineer I: Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Associate Engineer II: Engineer-in-Training certification and two years of relevant experience.
- Engineer (P.E.): Professional Engineer License and four years of experience.
- Senior Engineer: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, P.E. registration in Texas, and five years of experience.
