Work Schedule:
Every other weekend and two weekday shifts with a holiday on-call rotation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-admission evaluations to determine service appropriateness.
- Initiate the admission process by educating patients and families about available services.
- Obtain informed consent.
- Provide nursing assessments, develop initial care plans, and implement interventions that enhance patient and family comfort and quality of life.

Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Current registered nurse license in the state of practice
- Valid CPR certification
- Preferred: One year of hospice experience
- Ability to make independent decisions when necessary
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, visitors, and agency personnel
- Knowledgeable in quality assessment and assurance procedures.
