**Job Summary**

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a skilled Nursing Clinical Quality and Patient Safety Coordinator to join our team. This role will provide training and clinical/service data analysis for designated health system business units and support the professional practice of nursing as essential and integral to patient care.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Utilize continuous quality improvement tools and resources to evaluate nursing data and practice patterns
  • Evaluate clinical resource utilization to improve practices in nursing and interdisciplinary care across the health system
  • Provide leadership and consultation to front line staff, nurse managers, and directors regarding quality, safety, and compliance

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in nursing
  • Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio
  • Previous clinical quality management experience required in an acute care setting

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Master's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in nursing
  • Previous experience developing nursing standards of care
  • Skilled in project management and ability to facilitate group process
