Job Overview

Molina Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Specialist, Quality Interventions / QI Compliance to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing, planning, and implementing quality improvement initiatives and education programs to ensure compliance with prescribed quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of quality improvement strategies to improve healthcare outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain quality improvement plans, reports, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff on quality improvement initiatives and education programs.
  • Conduct data analysis and reporting to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address quality issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in healthcare with minimum 2 years' experience in health plan quality improvement, managed care or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated solid business writing experience.
  • Operational knowledge and experience with Excel and Visio (flow chart equivalent).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience in Medicare and in Medicaid.
  • Experience with data reporting, analysis and/or interpretation.
  • Active, unrestricted Certified Professional in Health Quality (CPHQ)
  • Active, unrestricted Nursing License (RN may be preferred for specific roles)
  • Active, unrestricted Certified HEDIS Compliance Auditor (CHCA)
