About the Role

As a Production Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our production team. Under the guidance of the Production Manager, you will ensure the efficient execution of the production schedule, maintain high standards of food safety, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of food production while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety protocols.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures, collaborating with the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Team to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Develop and maintain a strong team leadership style, skilled in motivating, coaching, and influencing others.
  • Efficiently execute the production schedule, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Develop and maintain efficient Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in collaboration with site engineers.
  • Develop and maintain qualified personnel within the plant production department.
  • Communicate and enforce regulatory and company policies within the plant.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives, focusing on process optimization and efficiency.
  • Manage labor costs while meeting plant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintain a positive working environment, driving an engaged culture.
  • Ensure the production of products to specification.
  • Minimize losses and optimize resource utilization.
  • Manage performance through KPIs.
  • Monitor and control departmental data through SAP Department Data Control.
  • Maintain a high level of departmental cleanliness, adhering to 80% floor and 20% office/strategic work.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in leading a manufacturing team.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Understanding of continuous improvement principles.
  • Thorough knowledge of unit operations.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodology.
  • Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
