The Sanitation Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the efforts of staff engaged in the cleaning and sanitization processes, ensuring the facility is prepared for the production of premium products.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least two years of relevant experience with a stable job history and references.
  • Ability to perform tasks in an organized and efficient manner.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Effective communication skills in both written and verbal forms.
  • Proficient in basic mathematical calculations.
  • Strong reasoning and problem-solving abilities.

Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively throughout the shift to maximize the productivity of the sanitation team.
  • Lead the sanitation team to ensure the facility is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized in a timely manner.
  • Conduct inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
  • Develop and implement innovative cleaning methods and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manage requisitions for tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for sanitation operations.
  • Communicate promptly with relevant stakeholders regarding any issues that may impact operations or product quality.
  • Facilitate training and onboarding of new team members to enhance performance and familiarize them with company policies.
  • Collaborate closely with management to address maintenance, production, and quality concerns.
  • Engage with team members to resolve any grievances effectively.
  • Prepare and oversee the sanitation department budget and monitor expenditures.
  • Ensure the safe and proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
  • Capable of working in a fresh-cut produce production environment, which may be cold, wet, and congested.
  • Willingness to work third shift hours.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • A proven track record of achieving results with a proactive approach.
