Job Overview:

The Senior Commercial Banker plays a critical role in managing and growing an existing portfolio of commercial banking customers, expanding existing relationships, and developing new business. You will work closely with clients generating $20 million - $500 million+ in annual revenue, providing exceptional service to build and strengthen customer relationships by promoting products and services tailored to their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop existing portfolios by assessing client business and personal needs.
  • Increase profitability through cultivating new commercial business relationships.
  • Negotiate optimal loan structures and effectively cross-sell products.
  • Maintain documented files and manage renewals and collection efforts on past dues and defaulted loans.
  • Stay informed about current commercial products offered in the market and relevant industry trends.
  • Build and maintain professional networks of COIs and referral sources.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting (preferred).
  • Formal Bank credit training or strong understanding of general credit and risk principles (preferred).
  • 5+ years of commercial lending experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, analytical, organizational, and time management abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and client interaction.
  • Ability to proactively prioritize workflow.
