As a Regional Behavioral Health Manager at Kaiser Permanente, you will be responsible for overseeing a small group or program within our organization. Key Responsibilities:- Budget Management: Develop and implement budget recommendations to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Staffing and Talent Development: Collaborate with hiring managers to make informed staffing decisions, and provide coaching and feedback to staff to enhance their performance.
- Program Design and Implementation: Develop and implement program designs and strategies to meet business objectives and improve patient outcomes.
- Utilization Management: Monitor access indicators and develop strategies to optimize resource utilization.
- Education: PhD, PsyD, or EdD in clinical or counseling psychology from an accredited institution.
- Experience: Minimum of two years of professional experience under the direction of a licensed psychologist or board-certified psychiatrist.
- Licensure: Psychologist License (California) and National Provider Identifier required at hire.
- Knowledge of Social Services: Familiarity with social service agencies, state regulations, and APA standards related to client treatment, patient rights, and confidentiality.
- Clinical Experience: Previous clinical responsibilities, including psychological testing, diagnosis, crisis intervention, and brief individual and group psychotherapy.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
This is a full-time position with a standard schedule, working 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively to meet business objectives.
