We are currently seeking a Project Engineer to become part of our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Independently identifies and executes necessary tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Analyzes and comprehends project drawings, specifications, subcontractor agreements, and purchase orders.
  • Oversees the Request for Information (RFI) process to ensure accuracy, timely resolution, and proper distribution.
  • Documents and shares meeting minutes for all relevant gatherings.
  • Manages the submittal process from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
  • Leads the procurement tracking process by thoroughly reviewing submittals, monitoring material orders and lead times, and addressing procurement issues as they arise.
  • Understands project budgets and the tracking, recording, and measurement of costs.
  • Demonstrates the ability to accurately monitor material quantities and production rates.
  • Possesses a basic understanding of various types of owner contracts and project delivery methods.
  • Collaborates with the QC manager and superintendents to document QA/QC for specific scopes and ensure closeout of items prior to key milestones.
  • Coordinates with the project team to ensure documents are generated and stored correctly, and trains others on managing document compliance.
  • Engages with team members to leverage their experience and enhance personal knowledge of commercial construction.
  • Understands the roles of team members and provides support and assistance.
  • Utilizes personal knowledge and experience to proactively resolve issues before they occur and aids the team in addressing challenges across various scopes of work.
  • Organizes project documents for field teams to reference during the construction phase (e.g., foreman binder).
  • Facilitates the project setup process and provides all necessary forms and logs before work commences, maintaining them throughout the construction phase.
  • Processes and tracks labor subcontractor timecards and invoices.
  • Assists in organizing meetings and drafting agendas.
  • Identifies and implements improvements to standard processes and procedures.
  • Supports project closeout requirements.
  • Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience with Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Able to solve practical problems and navigate various variables in situations with limited standardization.
  • Exhibits a strong work ethic and a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Capable of interpreting a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formats.
  • 2-5 years of relevant on-the-job experience required.
  • Certifications in First Aid, CPR, and OSHA 10-hour are advantageous.
