We are currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Independently identifies and executes necessary tasks with minimal guidance on specific items.
  • Analyzes and comprehends project drawings, specifications, subcontractor agreements, and purchase orders.
  • Oversees the Request for Information (RFI) process to ensure accuracy, timely resolution, posting, and distribution.
  • Records and disseminates meeting minutes for all pertinent meetings.
  • Manages the submittal process from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines by all team members and clients.
  • Leads the procurement tracking process by thoroughly reviewing submittals, monitoring material orders and lead times, and escalating procurement issues as needed.
  • Understands project budgets and the methods for tracking, recording, and measuring costs.
  • Demonstrates the ability to accurately monitor material quantities and production rates.
  • Possesses a foundational understanding of various types of owner contracts and project delivery methods.
  • Collaborates with the QC manager and superintendents to document QA/QC for specific scopes and finalize items before milestone activities.
  • Coordinates with the project team to ensure documents are generated and stored correctly, and teaches others how to manage document compliance.
  • Seeks input from team members to enhance personal knowledge of commercial construction.
  • Understands team members' roles and provides support and assistance.
  • Utilizes personal knowledge and experience to foresee and resolve issues proactively, aiding the team in addressing challenges across multiple scopes of work.
  • Organizes project documents for field teams to reference during the construction phase (e.g., foreman binder).
  • Leads the project setup process, providing all necessary forms and logs before work commences and maintaining them throughout the construction phase.
  • Processes and tracks labor subcontractor timecards and invoices.
  • Assists in scheduling meetings and drafting agendas.
  • Identifies and implements improvements to standard processes and procedures.
  • Supports project closeout requirements.
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience with Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam is preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and respond to inquiries from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Capable of solving practical problems and navigating various variables in situations with limited standardization.
  • Exhibits a strong work ethic and a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Able to interpret a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • 2-5 years of relevant on-the-job experience required.
  • Certifications in First Aid, CPR, and OSHA 10-hour are preferred.
