Attorney General Fellowship Program:
Post-Graduate Opportunity for 3L Law Students Duties

The Office of the New York State Attorney General (OAG) is seeking candidates for the Attorney General Fellowship Program.


Program Highlights:
This is a two-year initiative designed for six law school graduates.
Fellows will engage in meaningful public service legal work, receiving comprehensive training and mentorship.
Participants will serve as junior attorneys, focusing on safeguarding the rights and interests of the state and its residents.

Fellows will acquire practical legal experience through involvement in investigations, litigation, and community outreach initiatives.

Available placements include various locations within the state.
The AG Fellowship Team will assign placements based on organizational needs and fellows' preferences.

We are looking for candidates who are genuinely committed to public service and wish to contribute to significant legal work that benefits the community.

Therefore, we advise applicants to refrain from specifying particular bureaus in their application materials.

Compensation and Benefits:
The annual salary is competitive, supplemented by location-specific pay where applicable.
