About the Fellowship

The Hearst Journalism Fellowship is a two-year program designed to develop the skills and expertise of aspiring journalists. As a Fellow, you will have the opportunity to work alongside top journalists at Hearst Newspapers, gaining hands-on experience and training in the latest tools and techniques.

Program Overview

The Fellowship consists of two 12-month rotations at Hearst's top metro papers, where you will work on a variety of projects and assignments, developing your reporting and writing skills. You will also receive mentorship and guidance from experienced journalists, helping you to set and achieve your career goals.

Requirements

To be considered for the Fellowship, you must be a college graduate with a strong interest in journalism or a related field. You should have a portfolio of work that demonstrates your writing and reporting skills, and be willing to relocate to one of Hearst's metro papers for the duration of the program.

Applications for the Fellowship program will be accepted until [Deadline]. To apply, please submit your resume, cover letter, and portfolio of work. A panel of Hearst's top editors will review applications and select finalists, who will be invited to participate in a writing test and interview.
