Job Overview

As a Banquet Sous Chef, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will assist the Executive Sous Chef in managing the kitchen, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing the kitchen and supervising staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Coordinate the preparation and presentation of menu items, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Monitor inventory levels and requisition supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with the catering department to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Conduct regular walk-throughs to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement training programs for new and existing staff.
  • Review sales and food costs to ensure alignment with budgeted targets.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
