Role Overview

The Mortgage Financing Specialist is responsible for initiating sales outreach and processing initial mortgage loan applications for both new and existing members.

Work Environment

This position is primarily located at our Corporate Headquarters in Downtown Baltimore. Initial in-office attendance is required, with potential for a hybrid work arrangement after a designated period.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluating credit histories and assessing repayment capabilities
  • Negotiating loan terms in accordance with established guidelines
  • Executing business development initiatives
  • Efficiently managing tasks and projects
  • Collaborating with partners to drive mortgage loan business
  • Building relationships and visiting Credit Union branches
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance is preferred
  • NMLS Licensing is mandatory
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in Mortgage Loan Originations
  • Understanding of mortgage processing principles
  • Demonstrated success in outside sales
