We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at World Relief. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in providing strategic financial and operational support to our US field offices and the Home Office Finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on support to US field offices, particularly those with limited resources or staff, to ensure efficient financial management and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

• Create and deliver training programs on finance and operations for staff and office directors to enhance their knowledge and skills in financial management and compliance.

• Integrate financial processes and communication across different departments to ensure seamless operations and effective financial management.

• Ensure the efficient use of organizational financial tools and resources by US Programs teams, and review and assist in developing financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and sound expense control.

• Identify and monitor potential financial risks in field offices, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

• Support the budgeting process and participate in quarterly review meetings with field offices to ensure grant compliance.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or grants management, with a strong understanding of US non-profit and INGO business regulations.

• Proficient in accounting, finance, or grants management principles, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience working with remote and cross-cultural teams, with strong English communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with intermediate Excel skills, and experience working with financial software, including MS Excel and MS PowerBi.

• Strong commitment to World Relief's mission, vision, and values, with a mature and personal Christian faith.
