Job Overview

The ideal candidate will possess a friendly demeanor, strong customer service skills, and a genuine desire to assist others. This role requires the ability to perform repetitive lifting and bending, as well as standing for extended periods. Key attributes include empathy, honesty, integrity, and reliability. Successful candidates must pass a background check. A cell phone, valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and GPS/Google Maps access are essential for traveling to various job locations. Hours are flexible, with no guaranteed minimum, primarily falling between 9 AM and 3 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday work as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sorting and Organizing: Collaborate with clients to evaluate their belongings, assisting them in making decisions about what to keep, donate, or discard.
  • Space Planning: Aid clients in determining which items will fit in their new living spaces.
  • Packing: Carefully wrap and box items for relocation.
  • Overseeing Movers: Ensure that items are moved according to the established plan.
  • Resettling: Unpack clients' belongings in their new locations, with the understanding that the duration may vary.
  • Online Estate Sales: Photograph items, create lots, and write descriptions using a mobile device for online auctions.
  • Cleanouts: Manage the removal of items left in homes, coordinating donations, recycling, or disposal, especially in sensitive situations.
  • Incident Reporting: Document any incidents or accidents and report them to management.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • At least one year of customer service experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
