Job Overview

At Davis Door Service, Inc., we are seeking a skilled Commercial Glass Technician to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service and replacement of commercial door and storefront glass.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair or replace glass in commercial doors and storefronts.
  • Measure accurately using tape measures and levels.
  • Assist in the estimation process, utilizing your expertise to ensure accurate quotes.
  • Train new technicians in the glass service industry, sharing your knowledge and skills.
  • Repair and service doors as needed, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Provide excellent customer experience, responding to their needs and concerns.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with tools specific to glazier work.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
  • Punctuality and reliability in meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of power and hand tools, with a focus on safety protocols.
  • Background in construction or a related field, a plus.

Reporting Relationships:

As a technician, you will work independently or with other technicians/trainees to ensure safe and proficient work practices. Our division manager will oversee daily operations, providing guidance and support as needed.
