Compensation:
$35/hr - $60/hr

Sign-On Bonus up to $5,000 based on experience

Key Responsibilities:


This role involves assisting in the repair and overhaul of equipment, refrigeration, heating, and ventilation systems to ensure customer satisfaction is met efficiently, accurately, and punctually.

Deliver service to the customer base by repairing and overhauling equipment, including compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and electrical and mechanical control devices in a safe, efficient, and timely manner that exceeds customer expectations.

Conduct general repair work on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation systems, such as air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machines, water pumps, gas furnaces, compressors, and electric motors safely and promptly.

Perform preventative maintenance tasks for clients by diagnosing equipment malfunctions and operational deficiencies of mechanical systems to ensure quality service delivery.

Support the department by processing job tickets and work orders to the relevant department promptly.
Provide necessary training to new or less experienced technicians as required.
Engage in minor construction and remodeling projects, including the startup of new installations.
Operate company vehicles safely.
Execute other related duties and projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
EPA certification.
Certification from an accredited vocational-technical or trade school is advantageous.
Good driving record.
Knowledge of commercial refrigeration, ice machines, gas furnaces, and electrical components.
Working knowledge of single systems, parallel rack systems, display cases, and walk-in boxes.
5-7 years of experience in commercial refrigeration, HVAC, ice machines, gas furnaces, and electrical systems required.
Experience working on refrigeration equipment in convenience and supermarket environments.
Ability to effectively troubleshoot and repair computer controls and commercial refrigeration systems.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.
Must be capable of lifting up to 60 lbs. without assistance and able to sit and/or stand for extended periods.
