About the Role

The Associate Director/Director, Medical Affairs Strategy will be responsible for leading scientific and medical initiatives across various departments. This includes contributing to the development and implementation of medical strategies and tactics for assigned assets, establishing relationships with key stakeholders, and providing input on budget planning and execution.

We are seeking an exceptional individual with expertise in solid tumors and experience in medical affairs, drug development, and/or biopharmaceutical industries. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and business acumen, with the ability to navigate complex information and translate scientific data into concise messages.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of medical affairs strategies and tactics for assigned Bicycle assets.
  • Identify, develop, and cultivate trust-based relationships with professional medical organizations, including medical societies and NCI-designated Cooperative Groups, as well as patient advocacy organizations.
  • Support U.S. medical affairs launch readiness planning, activities, tracking, and execution.
  • Utilize experience, resources, and gained knowledge to affect different projects and programs across the pipeline for the GMA team.
  • In collaboration with the Senior Director, Global Medical Affairs Strategy Lead, establish budgets for medical affairs tactics.
  • Work closely with the field medical affairs team as a subject matter expert to support scientific education/training and KOL activities.
  • Provide input to Scientific Communications/Medical Communications on internally and externally facing medical materials and publication.
  • In collaboration with the Medical Affairs Leadership Team, provide input, review and support for Investigator-Sponsored Trial (IST) program.
  • Support Global Medical Affairs lead on GPT to plan and execute on the life cycle management plan for assigned Bicycle assets.
Qualifications
  • Prior biopharmaceutical industry experience required (4+ years of experience preferred) in medical affairs and/or oncology drug development.
  • Advanced degree in a health-related field (PhD, MD, PharmD strongly preferred).
  • Ability to think strategically and translate scientific information into medical affairs strategies.
  • Ability to understand complex information and simplify into concise scientific messages.
  • Ability to navigate and succeed in a dynamic environment with collaboration and teamwork.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to present scientific data in a credible and fair-balanced manner.
  • Strategic thinking with strong business acumen and the ability to prioritize.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in clinical trial data review and interpretation.
  • Knowledge of the U.S. healthcare and regulatory environment.
  • Willingness and flexibility to meet domestic and international travel requirements (up to 30%).
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
