Job Summary

The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for developing and implementing long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address capacity issues, production location decisions, and other business growth and sustainment initiatives.

This role involves supporting the execution of programs, coordinating new program/product launches, and monitoring key performance indicators. The Supply Chain Planner will also analyze performance data, coordinate cross-functional work teams, and optimize supply chain management interfaces with manufacturing systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, issue, and control material requirements in conjunction with the production schedule.
  • Support risk management activities impacting the value chain, working with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure shipments are accomplished to maintain contract/internal delivery commitments.
  • Train and mentor junior-level supply chain team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 4-6 years of work experience or equivalent experience.
  • Significant ERP System Experience (Oracle, SAP, Other), inclusive of shop floor control systems.
  • Planning experience in a large multifaceted electronic manufacturing environment.
  • Inventory/stockroom management.
  • Ability to analyze, react, and train on exceptions in Material Requirements Planning (MRP), especially around Bills of Material, Material Planning, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, and ECOs with minimal assistance from the Supply Chain Manager.
