Position Overview:
As a key member of the Avionics FPGA/ASIC team, you will take on the role of a highly skilled Electrical (or Computer) Technical Lead, contributing to the architecture, design, implementation, verification, and integration of advanced digital systems that utilize FPGAs and ASICs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define the architecture for video and image processing devices to align with system requirements.
- Recommend and spearhead functional strategies to enhance the Complex Hardware discipline and associated products.
- Comprehend product certification necessities and create DO-254 planning documents for development initiatives.
- Capture, decompose, and ensure traceability of requirements.
- Engage in ASIC/FPGA digital design and/or verification, including RTL coding and simulation in VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog.
- Conduct ASIC/FPGA verification through inspection, analysis, simulation, and testing methodologies.
- Potentially develop UVM constrained random environments using SystemVerilog.
- Create device placement and timing constraints, perform device synthesis, and execute static timing analysis, linting analysis, and clock-domain-crossing analysis.
- Generate DO-254 DAL-A certification artifacts for Airborne Electronic Hardware (AEH).
- Facilitate and/or partake in peer reviews throughout the product lifecycle.
- Lead teams through certification reviews with stakeholders.

Qualifications:
- A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required, along with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience. Alternatively, 12 years of relevant experience may be considered in the absence of a degree.
- Proven experience in Video and Image processing FPGA or ASIC developments.
- Demonstrated leadership in technical projects, including customer interactions and presentations to leadership.
- Familiarity with DO-254 design assurance activities for FPGA and ASIC developments.
- Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with a wide range of stakeholders from individual contributors to program management and customers.
- U.S. Person status is required (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status).
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (less than 10%).

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Linux/Unix, scripting, C/C++, Python, and/or Perl.
