Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a hardware engineering team to support navigation products for both ground and airborne applications.
  • Assist in capturing and defining technical requirements.
  • Create essential electrical design documents, including schematics and printed circuit board (PCB) layouts.
  • Conduct preliminary design and analysis tasks.
  • Support integration and verification testing processes.
  • Generate and review electrical design documentation, drawings, and reports.
  • Facilitate the transition of products to manufacturing while providing ongoing electrical design support.
  • Engage with other engineering disciplines, including mechanical, software, systems, and test engineering, to ensure cohesive project execution.

Work Environment:

This position requires full-time onsite work to promote effective collaboration and meet the specific demands of the role.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and assignments efficiently.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Completion of junior year in a Bachelor of Science program in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with schematic generation.
  • Familiarity with basic testing equipment, such as power supplies and digital multimeters.
  • U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.

Preferred:

  • Entering senior year in a Bachelor of Science program in Electrical Engineering.
  • High motivation for problem-solving and continuous product improvement.
  • Ability to work effectively within a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of printed circuit board design.
  • Experience with schematic capture software and testing equipment like oscilloscopes.

Compensation:

Salary range for full-time positions is competitive and based on market pay structures, with individual salaries determined by various factors, including qualifications and experience.
