Senior Purchasing ManagerWe're seeking a highly motivated and exceptional Senior Purchasing Manager to join our Supply Chain team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in sourcing and managing parts that make up the building blocks of our Electric Adventure Vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop Strategic Sourcing Plans: Analyze the supply base, market conditions, and technology roadmaps to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Lead Contractual Negotiations: Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts that meet our business needs and ensure compliance with our policies and procedures.
- Identify and Develop Suppliers: Research and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure they meet our quality and reliability standards.
- Perform Cost Analysis: Analyze quote submissions and identify opportunities for cost reductions.
- Drive Cost Savings: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving initiatives and achieve vehicle cost targets.
- Manage Supplier Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and high-quality products.
- Review and Analyze ED&D Costs: Collaborate with Engineering leads to ensure best-in-class cost is attained.
- Manage Vehicle Budget: Collaborate with the Finance team to manage vehicle budget and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Support Program Management: Collaborate with Program Management to support prototype requirements, execute against build milestones, and track sourcing progress.
- Support Supplier Quality: Collaborate with Supplier Quality to support plant audits and technical reviews.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering
- 5+ Years of Relevant Experience
- 3+ Years of Experience with Automotive Suppliers
- 3+ Years of Effective Negotiation Experience
- Good Interpersonal and Communication Skills
- High Level of Integrity
- Analytical Skills
- Attention to Detail
- Ability to Work Independently and Multi-Task
