The Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting plays a crucial role in applying established accounting principles to evaluate financial data and generate precise financial statements in line with US GAAP.

  • Conducts thorough analysis of complex financial reports to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepares financial statements and assists in budget preparation as per timelines.
  • Creates financial reporting checklists to ensure adherence to U.S. GAAP and reporting requirements.
  • Performs variance analysis and reconciles accounts.
  • Reviews and suggests improvements to accounting systems and processes.
  • Engages in the establishment of financial standards.
  • Responds to requests from external auditors.
  • Supports the month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Develops and documents business processes and accounting policies to enhance controls.
  • Works independently with minimal guidance while collaborating closely with team members and management.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
