The project encompasses various technologies and powertrains, including electric and alternative fuel systems.

  • Background in mechanical assembly, reassembly, and vehicle construction within the automotive field is highly advantageous

Key Responsibilities:
You will be tasked with assembling and supporting the testing of vehicles from the ground up, starting from the frame. This may involve bolting on components, installing wiring and cabling, or collaborating with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues. By the end of each day, you should be able to observe progress in your respective builds. The work environment is a collaborative shop where you will engage with a team of engineers and technicians.
Additional Responsibilities may include:
  • Assist in vehicle assembly tasks
  • Verify the functionality of installed electric and mechanical systems
  • Support troubleshooting of any identified issues
  • Construct, modify, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems
  • Assist in diagnosing any problems encountered during verification
  • Collaborate on issue resolution with the team
  • Document any issues encountered and the steps taken to resolve them
  • Discuss and present any electrical and mechanical challenges identified throughout the vehicle's lifecycle
  • Create, modify, and maintain wiring harnesses and test connections as necessary

This is a full-time consulting role with Actalent.

This position is fully on-site in a shop environment dedicated to assembling vehicles from the ground up.
